Amazing food with 5 star service

I had a fantastic experience at this spot. We loved the extraordinary vibes and the meals. The waiters are super affable. I’m glad we ultimately managed to visit this restaurant.

Had a great time with my co workers there, and the food was really good. Service also great.

Went for the $12.99 pasta special and had a good meal. 4 out of 5 of us were pleased with our meals, but one had a over-salted salad, and slightly undercooked tortellini. Service was great and the cocktails/wine very tasty. The place was hoppin', so there must be something that attracts the crowds. Maybe we had an off night.

I come to this superb place every couple of days since I love the special atmosphere that is outline this restaurant. The personel is extremely welcoming and well trained. The service is pretty efficient. Most important, the food they prepare is magnificent. I visited often and I was never disappointed. The cost is reasobable. I suggest this place to my friends and family.

The food was okay. Desert was not the best. We ordered a peach and raspberry crisp. I don't know what part was the crisp. It was warm fruit with vanilla gelato. Not impressed. The service could have been quicker too, but it's been awhile since we've gone out to dinner, so I'll let that pass.

Waiting staff hurrying you up all night long, food not that great but over priced. Don’t recommend, try a different place.If this is considered Italian, then you might want to save money and go to Olive Garden and save.The place looks nice, but not worth the time or money.Reminds me of a fast food place that has no time for you to enjoy your dinner.If others think this is great food they must have never been out of the neighborhood.

Terrible service. Someone parked behind me trapping my car in their lot. Told me to call the cops even though it's their private lot. Had to wait 45 min for the cop to show up and then the cop had to find the person in the resteraunt to move their car. Such blatant incompetence.

Wonderful upscale Italian restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. The menu is relatively small and can use some deciphering, but all of the options were amazing. They have great calamari, delicious pasta, and decadent desserts (like get yourself some gelato). We had absolutely loved all of our dishes and the portions are large! They have a drink menu with listed prices *thank you*. The service was 10/10 amazing. Our waitress was wonderful and made sure we were always taken care of. Would reccomend for a special night out or celebration.

My husband and I had a reservation tonight for 8 pm, we sat out our table in the cold, wind and with river bugs everywhere to wait 18 minutes for absolutely NO service. I get that your restaurant may be having difficulty with the Covid situation but i am making a choice only my 2nd time to dine out during Covid. Its a shame that our selection in Francescas Sf Charles was nothing more than a pure let down and ruined the night.

Good food. Pleasant staff. A bit noisy for my taste but if you like being in a crowd without bumping shoulders all the time a good place to visit.

Service and food were great. Definitely a good find. Good for a family dinner or date night.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants. They are in down town Naperville. Great mussels and calamari and BEST tiramisu! Can't wait to go again.

I really appriciatte they have the best food the best calamary but because they are too busy i have poor costumer service it took long time to get our water our bread show up after 15 minutes sitting here so if you want to choose a Restaurant go where the expectations are higher and they dont go by the apparence.

Excellent choice for when you’re tired of being quarantined and need a “restaurant fix!” Their curbside service is a limited menu, but awesome food! And the preparation, even to go is awesome! Enjoy! Delicious.

Generous menu of gluten free options. Even a gluten free chocolate cake that my whole family loved! Great attentive staff as well. Will definitely return.

The Polo Romano is incredible. A half chicken roaster to perfection sitting in a garlic butter sauce seasoned with tarragon and spices makes for an ideal dinner. Roasted potatoes included for $21 you can't beat this dish. Just make sure you have extra bread to soak up the sauce. My wife had the salmon with mushrooms and spinach and really like it. The drinks were excellent too. Not too strong but a good pour. Need to go here more often.

This was great! The ambience was relaxing, service was impeccable and food was fantastic!! Its located in the heart of downtown St. Charles. Will definitely go back if I have the opportunity.

I came to Francesca's as part of a Valentine's celebration. The atmosphere was busy but still fine for conversation. I had roast chicken with potatoes...it was very good. My friend ordered gnocchi and loved it. The service was excellent and very efficient. We will be coming back to try more of the menu.

We frequent this restaurant on a fairly regular basis and love everything we have ever eaten there. I'm giving this review about the take out pizza kits (margarita) we recently picked up. I have to say I have never tasted such a tasteless pizza in my life. The instructions are simple. Roll out the dough ,top it with sause, and add the toppings. I think the sauce is what the problem is. The second one we made ( comes with 2 ) was better since we added some of our own ingredients to the sauce, still not that good. We will return when things get back to the way they were, but won't order any more pizza kits.

Good food as always. Terrible dining experience. The waitress should work at Denny's. Cramped spaces. Since when is nice saterday night dining require paper cloths over the table cloth? Overall not what I remember. It's been 15 years since I visited but I have to say. Slipped big time.

Been here many times and 5 stars. This time the chicken was dry on some parts, undercooked closer to the bone. I was hoping the sauce would rehydrate the chicken but no luck. Great bruschetta and top notch desert. Seemed understaffed with long wait times between waiter visits. Truly not his fault as he never had a chance to catch his breath. I will come back and hope this was a one off.

From the first moment you come to that place the waiters give you a comfortable feeling. Very courteous team, it is a nice place to to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. enjoyable food, talented chef, modest price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

This spot is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very helpful and the cuisine they serve is so yummy. I never decline to have a good meal here. Highly recommended.

Went there with a wedding party and was blown away by this place. The staff was VERY polite and courteous and always brought us any requests right away. We never had to wait for refills on drinks or bread. Since we were a large party we had a family style dinner and everything was out of this world good. We had a few people with Gluten restrictions and they accommodated with no issues whatsoever, and better yet, the gluten free options were to die for. The deserts were stellar. Definitely stop on for nice dinner

Wonderful and quick service! Our server was very knowledgeable and handled our large party like a pro. Large menu with plenty of options. My pasta dish was delish. I would also recommend the "Death by Raspberry" cocktail (pictured below) SO GOOD! If you have people that are hard of hearing, this may not be the best place, it is a little loud, but if you are a smaller table sitting close it won't be a problem. Great for a work dinner or a romantic celebration. I would definitely recommend it!

My wife and I did the outdoor dining option last weekend for our anniversary. It's the first time we have dined out since the pandemic began. I have to say that the outdoor dining experience is great. Tables are far apart (unlike many places I have seen), throw away paper menus, and complete teardown and sanitization after diners leave. We felt completely comfortable dining out here and have zero hesitation about returning.

It's good to little pricey for a pasta dish but I prefer the one I'm Clark street in Chicago.

We were a group of 15, made reservations, of course, on a Tuesday evening. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was old world and the food was fabulous! My only criticism was the fried potatoes served with several of the entrees, the presentation lacked color and french fries seemed out of place. I had the Salmon dish and it was beyond fabulous, my friend had Tilapia and it also looked and tasted wonderful, my Sweetheart had Veal and while it didn't look pleasing, the flavor was over the top!We would definitely return, if we lived in the area. Note: be careful where you park.
